Environmental Team & Gardening Club

Sacred Heart of Jesus School has a dedicated and enthusiastic ECO Team. They meet every Thursday after school.
The members are learning about the natural environment and biodiversity, along with continued stewardship of our earth.
This Spring the team is focusing on planting a Pollinator Garden to teach them the importance of local pollinators i.e., bees, butterflies, insects and birds.
They are assisting the school in supporting Earth Day activities.
Sacred Heart of Jesus has a well established blue bin recycling program which the students are actively supporting.
The team members are continuing to develop their skills of being stewards of the earth, while enhancing their collaborative, problem solving and public speaking skills.
